Brad McDermott, a native of Philadelphia, is an experienced trial attorney who has spent his entire legal career representing the rights of injured individuals. He is a second generation Philadelphia trial attorney and the proud son of the late Justice James T. McDermott of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Like his father, he is a graduate of both Saint Joseph’s University and Temple University School of Law. Mr. McDermott attended college at night while working full-time managing a high-rise apartment building in center city. Even during law school he worked clerking each afternoon following classes at the Beasley law firm. He distinguished himself as a student while at Temple School of Law where he was honored with the Barrister’s Award for Trial Advocacy.

Since graduating Temple in 1985, Mr. McDermott has specialized in all areas of personal injury litigation including medical malpractice, automobile accidents, product liability and premises liability. He has litigated and negotiated the settlement of hundreds of complex civil cases. Over the last 24 years, he has had extensive jury trial experience with numerous six- and seven-figure verdicts. Even more important than his skills and courtroom experience, Mr. McDermott is dedicated to his clients and is known for assisting them above and beyond what is generally expected of an attorney. Feldman & Pinto has been flooded with praise from clients regarding Mr. McDermott’s kindness and generosity. He is a committed advocate for his clients, ensuring they are fairly compensated for all injuries caused by the negligence of others.

Mr. McDermott is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyer Associations and is licenced to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has served as a Judge Pro Tem on behalf of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He is also active in Philadelphia politics, serving as committeeman for the 9th Ward.
